Recovery means to me living a life I never thought would be possible, 27 years of active addiction lost everything my family my home my soul living in hell.

When I first got in recovery my dogs was my motivation made me get out of bed every day to look after them walk them feed them without them I would have stayed lost.

I then became part of the Comeback my new recovery family which I started volunteering working my way up to getting a job helping others with there recovery my purpose in my passion, we also do murals around our town which makes me proud to be part off.

Recovery as also gave me my family back I have a beautiful granddaughter who will never see me high I have peace of mind and a life beyond my wildest dreams.

Recovery has made me grow into the women I should have always been today I have a god in my life I live with gratitude, love, acceptance and self-awareness I now walk with my head held high and want to be alive.
